Remarks: In June 1986 the Kentucky Railway Museum then located in Louisville Ky. ran their
L&N 152 along with the Monon BL2 32 on the CSX's Bardstown Branch for some weekend excursions. Shown here is its run that Sunday.Today the Bardstown Branch is now owned by R J Corman and besides some freight traffic they run their dinner train on it.
Great video of an unusual trip. Fans should be aware that both L&N 152 and Monon 32 are still operating at the Kentucky Railway Museum only about 15 miles south of Bardstown at New Haven on the remains of the L&N Lebanon Branch.

Nice video, I love seeing old videos of 152 in the 80's, especial on the Lebanon and Bardstown Branch. I wasn't alive to see any of this sadly. But I have some old pictures of 152 in Lebanon(my home town). So I really enjoy seeing this. I have work on 152 before, just cutting coal, but still it doesn't compare to seeing her ride the rails to Lebanon or Bardstown.
