Remarks: While out filming in 1995 I was lucky enough to catch one of the "reactivated" GEEPs along the Ft. Wayne line. In the mid 90's Conrail activated a handful of GP35's & GP30's from dead lines to ease a power crunch. They didn't last long, before being retired for good.

I'm very happy that somebody had the gumption to catch these rusty 2nd Generation EMD locos before they went to the wrecker. I had always thought that the GP-30's were adorable with that unique cowling around the cab. you always knew what you were spotting. Thanks for sharing !
