Due to bandwidth constraints, only members of our affordably priced RVElite subscription service may view ultra high quality videos.
Ultra high quality videos are encoded at a higher video resolution (640x480, the size of this light gray box), are sampled at bitrates of 4000+k/sec, have no compression added, and may be viewed by our valued RVElite members in full-screen mode.
Remarks: I have 3 samples of Chessie System westbounds. The first 2 videos are shot from Butler Ave bridge in Marion and the 3rd clip is taken at Amboy about 15 miles west of Marion near Peru, IN. All were shot within 3 days of each other in the Fall of 1985. These videos are some of the last shots I got of the C&O before the line was permanantly closed in 1988.
These scenes are from soon to be released DVD VH12 from Nelson Railroad Videos. (CSX The Early Years) with plenty of Chessie, Family Lines, Seaboard System and some Clinchfield along with early CSX schemes.

Why does that last train have two locomotives in the middle? I didn't think that line needed helpers. God bless.
