Remarks: In September 1992 the 765 ran some excursions out of Paducah Ky. on the Paducah & Louisville and its former IC trackage. This is its ferry run from Louisville to Paducah. The 765 put on a nice show that day especially as she climbed the Muldraugh Hill grade near Ft.Knox. Then with U.S.62 running along the track near Clarkson it allowed me to get some pacing action.

Nice video of a great engine. But I don't think I've ever seen an engine lift water (2:09) so violently before. Was she foaming or was the fireman carrying the water too high? A dangerous situation that could have blown a cylinder head off. I think they got very lucky here.
