Some of those old locos make the best "music" when they're workin' hard, at least from my perspective. Thought we might see a stall there for awhile.

Did he make the grade ? been on trains like that ...one wheelslip-one bell ringer to a stall. problems with GP-60's and the B-40's ...they don't do well in the continious rating at slow speeds ..and will derate themselves.... Thanks Bob

Only 2 units making any power are the GEs. The SP units appear to be DIC. Sums up the SP maintenance philosophy; Run 'em til they drop.

Bill the lead unit is pouring her guts out with the GE's. The only one that looks to be DIC is the GP60.
