Remarks: Part 2 of the color and variety of CSX in its early years. These clips as in part 1 were filmed in May 1987 between Elizabethtown and Smiths Grove Ky. on the former L&N main between Louisville and Nashville. Scene one a Seaboard System SD45-2 leads a northbound. Scene two L&N painted 7211 heads north through Elizabethtown. Chessie GP40-2 6302 is southbound at Gaithers Station. Scene four SCL painted GP40 2507 nears Louisville at Bardstown Junction. Finally CSX B30-7 5508 heads north at Smith's Grove.

Oh, how I wish I'd get to see just one more of those "Chessies" roll by my place. I miss those.
