Remarks: In November 1991 Norfolk Southern gathered the Southern 4501 along with N&W's 611 and 1218 celebrating 25 years of excursions that was began with the Southern. Several excursions were held in and around Chattanooga that weekend however I suppose the climax was when they teamed the three steamers together for a short run. This clip shows the three at Brown near Chattanooga. It was quite an experience.
