Remarks: In November 1992 CSX invited the UP Challenger to lead their annual Santa Claus Train. These four scenes show its run from Nashville to Louisville on its way to the event to be held the next weekend. Of note please excuse the rain drops and flapping umbrella on the final scene since mother nature really let loose on me there.

It seems like the 1990s UP Steam program was alot more dirty, with thicker, blacker, more well defined smoke than today! Nice post!
