Cannot Display High Quality Video

Due to bandwidth constraints, only members of our affordably priced RVElite subscription service may view ultra high quality videos.

Ultra high quality videos are encoded at a higher video resolution (640x480, the size of this light gray box), are sampled at bitrates of 4000+k/sec, have no compression added, and may be viewed by our valued RVElite members in full-screen mode.

Remarks: The opening scene features a trio of Santa Fe 500’s hustling westbound trailers through the town of Daggett under morning overcast. Scene Two finds a westbound UP coming off the old LA&SL to follow the piggyback. Scene Three shows an ex-B&O GP38 and three rebuilt ex-UP GP20’s moving back to await the Santa Fe interchange train from Barstow after positioning a single piggyback car at Cadiz. Scene Four: a fast moving eastbound pig with an eclectic quartet of EMD’s. Scene Five illustrates the Cadiz Turn arriving behind GP35/GP38/C30–7 trio. Scene Six shows a different Cadiz Turn returning westbound near Klondike on Ash Hill. Scene Seven is the same power as Scene Two, shown returning to Yermo. The closing scene features a Santa Fe in fading light working the last westbound miles of the Needles Sub.
