Remarks: Amtrak P42 87 leads the Texas Eagle south through Lockport. Due to the fact that all Metra and morning Amtrak service was suspended due to the blizzard, this wasd the first train through since the blizzard, and wow, did it plow the drifts out of the way!

Learnt something new from that video. If I'm ever up on a boarding platform, not long after an acumulating snow storm. And there's going to be trains barrelling thru as they're rolling onward to other stops. I will pay close attention to what track and at what speed their moving. For a man best know when to pick them up and put them down, in an attempt to keep getting blasted with that snow piles the locomotive's about to hit and spray around to all there.

The facing 'clear' signal... is there another track closer to the camera?

There are 2 Tracks that go through Lockport IL - guess a northbound didn't cut it's way through the snowpack yet. -- Great video...
