Remarks: ACWR's 300 job passes through Aquadale, NC on it's way to Midland with around 40 loads of ethanol to be placed at the transload facility. The trackage through Aquadale is ACWR's Piedmont Division, and is part of the original Norfolk & Southern mainline which ran between Norfolk, VA and Charlotte, NC. Aquadale is 37 miles from Charlotte. An NS lock still hangs on the derailer to a side track that houses an old caboose that hasn't moved in years.
